Erin Bow: poet, novelist, chewer of pencils.

I give school, library, and community presentations regularly.
From one-hour classroom visits to year-long residencies, I love meeting young readers and writers. I also give master-class seminars to other writers, on topics in both poetry and fiction.
I live in Ontario -- near Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, that part of the world -- in easy reach of Toronto, Hamilton, and London Ontario and other points in Southwest Ontario. Around here, I mostly book appearances through the Authors' Booking Service. See my page there!
I'll also travel anywhere you want to take me.
I do public speaking -- mostly on writing, of course, but not only on writing.
I've given speeches on children's literacy, in defence of fantasy, on the connection between science and writing, on the baffling division between boy books and girl books - even on what's wrong with LEGO.
I've sat on panels about fantasy, religion in fantasy, science writing, contemporary poetry, feminism in young adult literature, diversity in young adult literature, and more.
