bits of writing news

Just sent Sir Gawaine out to Candlewick Press, which asked to see the whole manuscript a while back. I've been smoothing out the last (I think) of the rough spots for a month or so. James, bless him, read the whole thing to me, which helped me find more rough spots I didn't know where there. So, anyway, now it's smashing, and everyone should think happy thoughts so it can fly.

I didn't make the new Breathing Fire anthology. I'm sort of in the dumps about because that, not because I expected to (the note said they got 400 entries for 30 slots) but because it would have been so neat.
