Bits of Writing News

It's now been three months since I sent Sir Gawaine and the Green Knight to Groundwood books. That's about the absolutely minimum time in which a publisher might consider a book. So now I can begin a low-grade simmer of fussing about it. How I'm looking forward to that!

Ghost Maps, on the other hand, goes to press next week, and I'm bubbling. Trying to decide if I want to sell books directly through this site. Anyone interested in buying a book straight from me? Let me know.

Did I mention that I did not place in the Malahat Long Poem contest? So now I need a new home for "Too Strong to Stop, Too Sweet to Lose," a 15-page poem. Yikes. Anyone have suggestions?

Sure, I'll buy one through the site if you decide to sell that way.
