A good day for mail

Both Fiddlehead and Grain came today, with my poetry in them. I'm looking forward to diving into them tomorrow. Both are usually great reads.

A treat on a bitter day, with hard wind picking up shards of ice and the UN on tv. I'm making corned beef and cabbage at the moment. I normally don't go in for meat that needs boiling -- I usually don't go in for meat at all -- but there is only so many things one can do against this sort of day, and corned beef is one of them.

Lattes are another. Ah, better.
